Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child – Due Next Week
We have a goal of 150 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child! Every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship – transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ! Shoeboxes will be collected through November 24.

Thanksgiving Service and Pie Social
Tuesday, November 26, 7:00 p.m. We will be receiving our annual collection for Covenant World Relief during our service.  We will enjoy a time of fellowship after the service.  Bring a pie to share!

Kids in NebagamonKids In Nebagamon (KIN)
The KIN program is putting together food baskets for Christmas. Boxes have been placed at the MMC entrance and the Welcome Center waiting to be filled with canned and dried foods. The food donation wish list is printed on the box. Please have donations in by December 10.

Congratulations to Pastor Nathan and Nicole on the arrival of Madelyn Hope.

Madelyn was born at 12:05 a.m. on Monday, October 28 and weighed 5 pounds 13 ½ ounces and was 19 ½ inches long.

Children’s Christmas Program
All children 3 years old – 4th grade are welcome to participate in our Mission Kidz! Children’s Christmas Program on Sunday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. If you missed the sign-up, please stop by Mission Kidz! Headquarters to sign up today. Practices will be held December 1, 8, and 15 at 9:45 a.m. in MMC 12/13.

Angel Tree Prison Ministries

This ministry provides wish list items to children who have a parent in prison.  There are “Angels” and a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center. If you have questions, contact Marion Bradley at  715-398-7299.

Mitten Tree Ministry

Our Senior Adult Ministries will be collecting hats and mittens again this year for the Head Start program in Brule. Please bring your donations to the Mitten Tree at the Welcome Center by mid-December.

Mission Kidz! Youth Band
Mission Kidz! needs a youth or adult to organize and/or lead the Mission Kidz! Youth Band once a month. See Cindy Nelson or Michelle Kephart for more information.

Good News Club started on October 9th
3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Music room at Northwestern Elementary School. Parents: MAKE SURE you have a note for your child's teacher that says they are to stay for Good News Club EVERY Wednesday. Children that don’t have notes will not be allowed to stay and no phone calls home can be made. We are looking forward to sharing Wednesdays with your child!

Mission Budget Update
As we approach the end of the year our Missions budget is running behind what is needed to make our commitments around the world and right here at home. As of October 31, we are behind $4,400. Would you consider a special gift this month to get us back on track? God is doing so much through your giving it would be appreciated to stay the course

This 9-week study is taking a deeper look at the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5. Each week is a self-contained lesson.

Walk with us through the faith journey of Abraham.
Morning Break begins Tuesday, Sept. 17, 9:30 a.m. with a Kick-Off Brunch;
Evening Edition begins Tuesday Sept. 17, 6:30 p.m. – Snacks provided.

Classes for adults are also available starting this fall on alternate Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Sign up at the Welcome Center.

Prayer Meeting
Our Prayer Group meets every other
Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

All men are invited to join us for an hour of
Christ-centered fellowship
every Wednesday from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Two Freedom in Christ classes will be offered beginning Sunday, September 9 at 9:45 a.m. “Victory Over the Darkness” (facilitated by Bill Anderson) will be held in Rooms 12/13, and “Discipleship Counseling” (facilitated by Brian Gant) will be held in Rooms 10/11.
